Who is known as the wisest man in the world?

Christians and non-Christians alike often answer this question with the most common response – King Solomon.

Most people seem to concur on the legendary king’s position atop the throne of wisdom. But in Ezekiel 28:3, God sends word to the proud king of Tyre and asks if he’s wiser than Daniel.

This message confirms that in God’s eyes, Daniel was the wisest man in the world, wiser than even King Solomon. 

Interestingly, Daniel is one of the very few protagonists in the Bible about whom no negative stories are shared, and that may not be a coincidence.

While most would pick King Solomon as the wisest man ever, God picked Daniel, an advisor to the Babylonian king, instead.
