Gerald Butler showcased more than abs when he shared about life on the sets of the Spartan cult movie, ‘300’.
The $60 million Warner Bros. feature was shot entirely in front of blue screens except for one exterior shot.
“There were times you would walk around in your red cape and little leather underpants and someone would point at nothing and say, ‘Look! A burning village!’ And I remember going, ‘Oh my God. This movie’s going to suck,’” Butler remarked.
“But when we first saw the final product, our jaws were dropping,” Butler remembers. “It was like, ‘Look at what Zack did!’”
‘300’ set a box office record at its opening and went on to gross $456 million worldwide and the director, Zack Snyder, became a filmmaker with many more credits to his name.
This storyline is no different when it comes to marketing.
Most bosses and even teammates need convincing about the final outcome of marketing projects since it’s something that most can’t visualize until they see it.
