Does your company’s website have a tab titled ‘Careers’ either in the main menu, footer, or site map?
My dad’s a civil engineer who worked 33 years for one employer – the local state government. His job turned out to be his entire career.
But I don’t know anyone in my generation who has worked for only one employer their whole life.
We’re all likely to work multiple roles and jobs in our careers.

Words are free. It's how you use them that may cost you.
Takeaway
- If prospective employees aren’t going to spend their careers with you, shouldn’t you be more intentional about the messaging on your website?
- What else are you saying on your website that’s not relevant anymore?
