Secret Santa

As I mentioned yesterday, anyone who knows me well knows my love for ice cream.
Yesterday at work, we celebrated Secret Santa and his amazing knack for memorable Christmas gifts.
We were all assigned a team member to gift something under $10.
We could also write a wish list, so I had written a few things that could be bought for that price.
However, imagine my surprise when I got a personalized ice cream pint from Ben & Jerry with a custom message!
It also happened to be a flavor that I dig in by the tub, and it fully melted away in my mouth and rightly so.
I hadn’t mentioned ice cream in my wish list, but my secret Santa knew and remembered that I loved it.
Maybe it was because during our last team retreat, I gulped down a handful of popsicles every single day!
When asked, we might not often be able to verbalize quickly what’s closest to our heart.
But our words and actions rarely betray our true feelings.
I’m glad my Secret Santa was watching!
