Going the extra meal

Yesterday I shared about how Texas Health hospital filled our mouths and blew our minds with a date-night celebration meal in the middle of our childbirth.
We were truly delighted as we’d not experienced anything like this when our eldest was born 4 years ago in Boston.
We also told our families who were a little sad that they missed out on such a blue ocean moment but were happy we got a celebration meal.
It’s as if Texas Health knew that because they raised the bar again by rolling out their complimentary take-home meal for 4 people on the day of checkout.
They rolled this out in a well-designed Texas Health hospital bag that we’re continuing to use at home.
The sharing of a meal is something that intersects fun, food, friendship, and more. And Texas Heath was leveraging it to be at the center of it all.
Most hospitals feed us when we’re admitted. Texas Health went the extra meal and fed us till we got home and got back on our feet.
