If you know me well, you know my weakness for ice cream!

When I recently stopped for gas at a nearby QuikTrip, I stepped in for a soft serve. 

The server in the QT Kitchens who got it for me said, “See you next time.”

The cashier also said the same line when I paid for it. 

Hmm! That coincidence was so compelling (and the ice cream, too) that I just knew I had to investigate.

I went back another day for more soft serve, and the same thing happened with some other staff members.

I tried another QuikTrip in the adjacent city and the staff there ended with the same four words.

I tried a RaceTrac gas station and they just said “Thank you.” 

I did multiple tests, ate lots of ice cream, and realized that QuikTrip:

1. Is very intentional about its messaging
2. Has instructed ALL its staff to end every customer conversation this way
3. Is ending every transaction by inviting all customers to return and be repeat clients

QuikTrip surely saw me the next time!
