Heights of hypocrisy

It looks like the Taliban got themselves a PR agency.
Calling themselves the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Taliban officially called for restraint by both parties in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Their concern? That it could otherwise intensify violence!
Their suggestion? That this crisis should be resolved through dialogue and peaceful means.
Their request? That Afghan lives in Ukraine be safeguarded.
All this comes from the same regime that violently overtook democracy in Afghanistan without dialogue or concern for Afghan lives under 6 months ago!
