Who’s the best judge of your branding?

I’m not sure how long this work-from-home option will be feasible given how COVID-19 is working full-time against us.
Working from home gets harder if you have children – be it toddlers, teens, or the inbetweeners!
As my wife and I (try to) work from home, we’ve been taking turns engaging our 2-year-old toddler so that one of us can work.
One day, as I was working, Caleb ran into my study, stared at my laptop for a few seconds, and then ran away. He was back in a minute and asked me, “Dad, why does mom not have an apple on her laptop?”
They say that when you get your branding right, even infants will get it right away.
Yes, my wife uses a Dell laptop, and I use a MacBook Pro. But I’ve never spoken to him about the Apple logo on the MacBook, and he has never asked me about it either.
Caleb doesn’t know what a Macbook Pro is, but Apple has already built a relationship with him. And no, he doesn’t know what a relationship is, but Apple managed that, too.
Your branding goes way beyond your logo, but very few brands know how best to use their logo.
At 40 Parables, we approached the San Diego-based BLVR for help with our visual identity. Being believers themselves and a branding expert in the Kingdom space, we were blessed to have them know what we wanted.
I love our logo (thank you BLVR) as well as the concept behind it (mentioned on our About page). But since the day Caleb asked that question, I’m inspired to see how I can use our logo beyond the norm. One day, I hope Caleb will ask similarly about our logo.
