Today I did one really important thing. I did other tasks too, but this one stands out, and I can barely remember the rest.

I’ve realized that out of 10-20 things we work on in a day, we’re likely to really accomplish only a couple of important things.

At the end of the week, I can barely remember a handful of key actions I took all week. 

One of my 2020 goals is to focus on these really important things and delegate the rest. Here’s how I distinguish them:

1. Is it multiplying long-term value for our team and the ministries we serve?
2. Is it something that adds to our core competency?
3. Is it something that only I can do and can’t be delegated?
