A week ago, it looked like Ukraine wouldn’t make it to March 2022.
Russia’s President Vladimir Putin had the nation surrounded with 150,000+ troops and unbeatable armory.
The EU and NATO didn’t seem like they would take any action to prevent Russia from invading Ukraine.
Then when Russia attacked, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky fought back and spoke up.
Sure, he requested help for Ukraine daily and asked nations to stall Russia.
But the most repeated word in his message was not war, ammo, or people.
It was FREEDOM.
He wasn’t merely messaging to request for help.
He was also fearlessly marketing what he knows we all would hate to give up – our freedom.
And slowly but surely, NATO and the EU were inspired by his bold speeches and the fighting spirit of the Ukrainians and they stepped up to sanction Russia daily.
Takeaway
Words can beat wars. Beware of the pen, because it is still mightier than the sword.
Ukraine made it to March 2022 but they aren’t out of the woods yet. I pray that you will continue to consider supporting the people in Ukraine with donations, resources, prayer etc.
