There is no cure for this illness. Period.

Humanity may soon discover a vaccine for COVID-19.

But there’s one illness that simply doesn’t have a cure.

Hypocrisy!

As a leader, I often try to ensure that I lead by example and not be a hypocrite.

I don’t ask my team members to do anything I wouldn’t do myself. As a human, I often fail in my battle against hypocrisy, but the hypocrisy I see in our inboxes these days is insane indeed.

COVID-19 has caused ministry inboxes to be blessed with millions of messages inviting them to level up digitally. I know this personally as a few ministries have asked 40 Parables to help with the same.

But I realize that we (who are trying to get the ministry world to go digital) are often not responding to the many invitations to go digital, which are flooding our inboxes daily. Yet, we not only ask our prospects to go digital but also get irritated when they don’t respond to our emails.

Hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue.

Are we asking the Kingdom to do things that we aren’t doing ourselves?
