Seven-minute hiccups

Marketing and my infant often struggle with the same problem – really long hiccups!

Zara, my 4-month-old, has hiccups that often last seven full minutes.

Yes, I timed them.

Because when such hiccups start, you have nothing else to do while they last.

But why does she get them in the first place?

Often because I don’t burp her properly after she drinks milk.

Sometimes it’s not fun to wake up a sleeping infant and make her burp.

Other times it’s because I want to go to sleep and don’t want her to wake up for the burp.

But if I don’t burp her on time to save time and sleep, I pay for it with hiccups, the really strong kind that can even wake her up from her sleep.

Marketing is no different from Zara when it comes to hiccups.

Marketing is no infant, but sometimes we make similar kiddish mistakes

If we don’t invest in a highly converting landing page or optimized email marketing, chances are that your marketing and sales efforts will soon encounter hiccups.

And it might take more than just a few minutes to get back on track.

Takeaway

Better investment upfront helps you avoid burpy inconveniences later on.
