10 steps to reading a blog post in 2022

- Wait for 30 seconds till the ad that you cannot control fully plays out
- Figure out how to accept only the absolutely essential cookies on the page
- Give up and accept all cookies because otherwise you won’t be able to read the post
- Close the pop-up window inviting you to subscribe to this blog that you didn’t even know existed up until a second ago
- Click “Yes, I’d rather lose money” to get out of yet another pop-up option, because people can’t take a hint when you say NO once
- Stop the irrelevant and annoying video that is playing in full screen at the top of the page
- Stop the other irrelevant and annoying video that is playing on the bottom left corner of the page
- Scroll down past the Google ad (because if you really wanted to see that you’d have just gone to Google.com)
- Dismiss the sliding pop-up that asks if I “want more SEO traffic?”
- Click on ‘READ MORE’ to finally get started on reading the actual post
