Caleb’s questions

My son Caleb is turning 5 today! ?

(As seen above: A picture of Caleb seated on his throne at his 5th birthday party and thinking of his next big question about that delicious birthday cake!)

Ever since he turned 2, Caleb and his questions have been a great source of content for my blog.

But in reality, his questions have taught me 4 key insights:

  1. I observed that Caleb questions the WHY more than the HOW.
  2. When Caleb asks certain vexing questions, it causes me to pause & reflect, “Now why have I never thought of it that way my entire life?”
  3. While the sheer volume of his questions can be annoying at times, I’m thrilled that he asks questions fearlessly – which is how we should ask them, too.
  4. Now when I ask questions, I often wonder how Caleb would have approached that topic and I think – “Am I asking the right question?”

Today, I want to acknowledge a dominant character of my blog and his questions that have shaped and sharpened it.

Takeaway

Question everything, because marketing’s greatest enemy is the status quo.

Are you asking enough and well? Let me know here.

You do not receive, because you do not ask.
